  1. Love your pics and poems! I need to learn how to do this. Shadow oasis takes on new meaning for me since I just walked KS country roads with family.. Way too hot there for this NW gal.

You took photos and then added more value to them. I just share photos but you create phoetry. Beautiful and inspirational

I love this approach; the images and poetry are well-matched. Thank you for sharing an elegant method of posting.

  4. You are marvel – I love the way you grouped the pictures and then found a tight writing focus…plus the perfect app with which to pull them all together. Bravo!

  5. There is so much to see if we just open our eyes to what is out there. Thank you for opening your eyes and capturing these lovely shots of your walk. Truly inspiring.

  6. What a great post! I love the collaging of your gorgeous photos and lovely words. I’m especially fond of those floral shadows–great eye! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Oh wow! Beautiful! I love the images and the words you paired them with. A series of poems all from one walk. Very creative. I’m wondering, did you see the groupings as you were taking the pictures and look for things that would group, or did you just start capturing images and play with them when you got home? Love this!

  8. Have I just noticed or is your header new? I loved that book, and the quote fits beautifully, especially today, Elsie. Your poems and photos are lovely. I love that “shadow oasis”, and the “colors” pop. So much to savor!

I was thinking of the apps, too, as I was reading–thanks for being proactive and sharing them! Love the details in your poem and the closeups of the flora and fauna.
