A few weeks back I received notice from Twitter that I was mentioned in a tweet. Of course, I immediately was curious because I am a wish-I-could understand-Twitter-and-use-it-more-but-I-don’t kind of Twitterer. Terje (Just for a Month) had tossed a challenge my way. Create a list of 100 things I am grateful for. Whew, that’s a lot, but I let the idea simmer in my mind. Then last week Jaana (Jaana’s Writing Blog) created and delivered her list. If you made it all the way to the end, I congratulate you. Now I challenge you to develop your own list. π
I love taking my Mom out on the town too! We always have such a good time. I love Gibbs too. That man knows how to age. π
Great list Elsie!!! The little things in life, right? Wow — 17 slicers already?!? That is amazing. Happy to be on that list! (And thanks for the reminder of this challenge…)
Thanks for helping me write tonight …. http://literacyzone.blogspot.com/2014/11/sol-something-is-different.html
Your list could be mine!
Wonderful list Elsie! I have to admit that I am not so sure about the blue cheese…..but coffee with friends is always a treat!
Great list…so so much to be thankful for!
I did the same thing today! So glad to see diet cherry Dr. Pepper – my favorite! Also I love the idea of keeping count of the number of slicers I have met. Thanks for the idea.
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful challenge and an incredible list!
So much to be thankful for – all the small things that we take for granted. I try to do a list for the month of November, but haven’t started yet. First on my list this year will be: a long, hot shower; ice cubes in my drink and flushing toilet paper in the toilet – three things I missed while in Guatemala!
Challenge accepted, Elsie! Though, I don’t know how long it will take me to compile my list π
Hm-m, I think it could be my list too, love that crispy bacon, Elsie. Fun to read your list!
I’m totally intimidated π
So many of your list made me smile and say hmmm, me too. Love this idea. Going for it!
Loved your list, Elsie – the perfect mix of all the things you hold dear in your life. This one, though, made my heart sing:key lime pie concretes at Andyβs Frozen Custard in July.
I will need to try this some day.
I do 30 Days of Thanks every November, but I LOVE this idea of listing 100 things one is grateful for. What a wonderful list of personal and professional things, as well as things we often take for granted (like hot, running water).
Reading your list made me smile broadly. Thank you.
Was such fun to learn new things about you from your list. I must mark July on my calendar! I will ponder the idea of a list challenge.
What a great list.I especially like all of the references to food…about one fifth if I counted correctly. We all have so many things to be grateful for. Too often we don’t take the time to reflect on them.
Love this idea! 100 things, huh? I think I could do it. I’m full of gratitude. π I notice the prominence of your husband on your list – he’s mentioned several times. Good for you, finding a good man. π
Love the list and accept the challenge.
