A few weeks ago I wrote a haiku about my peach blossoms. Recently I was out back checking on the plants and discovered the promise of the blossoms had been fulfilled. So here is the next haiku in the saga of the peaches.
Many spheres of fuzz
Have appeared on slender limbs
Some must be removed :-(

Sweet!

I am very curious. Is it because the branches are too weak? Is it best to prune some so others grow stronger? AHHH….
NEED
TO
KNOW
So jealous you can grow a tree like this where you live!

Love the haiku, love the photo of the growing peach. I, too, need to know – why must some be removed?

My taste buds are already waiting to savor the taste of a fresh peach. The amazement of how God has made each little bud to turn into something so delicious.

How cool to see what a baby peach looks like.

Yes, what is happening with the ones to be removed? When will you notice the next big change? I’ve never been able to observe a peach tree with such wonderment…

What a great photo to go with your haiku!! I can’t wait for your peaches to ripen!

Elsie it is just like you to get us all wondering what is going on and leave us to wait in suspense! Love it!

Delightful haiku! I love the picture and the next step in the peach saga. I never would have thought of that. Creative!

Did you leave us with an intentional or unintentional mystery? I wondered and because Tam and Linda wondered I wondered some MORE… ahhh…the power of writing. Love how you notice things.

I have the same ? as Tam. Love the ‘spheres of fuzz’, Elsie. My daughter is also watching their tree-sumptiousness to come!

Love haiku. Will we find out why some have to be removed? Watching the growth of something–great idea for writing. I must write. Thanks.
